All depends on how you implement said system.

I dont actually feel the need for such a system though. It was just a way of complimenting a great comment.

Some of these dont really ship worldwide. Not all of them offer a good bang for the buck in terms of hardware specs, and big companies sometimes offer more options (system76 traditionally didnt offer screens over FHD, most laptops are only 14"....).

If the video itself advertises you - yeah, i absolutely see that. If its just one of those ads youtube slaps before the video starts - nope, i cant see it.

But for example, advertisers avoid youtube videos that use slur words, or other non advertisers friendly topics. Its not like they stop advertising on youtube just because a video that said fuck exists. So who the hell associates the ad before the video to the video itself?

Why do brands care so much what their ads appear next to? Its not like people associate the ads with the content.

They dont consider chromium based browsere a monopoly because there are over 10 different ones from different companies. The fact they are all chromium behind the scenes and all comply with google's bullshit standards doesnt matter to them.

It is a social norm. Prices at restaurants are not cheap even without including tips, the amount tipped is decided by social norms, and if i get a shitty service i sure as hell dont tip.

And automatic QA testing insuring a higher level of stability compared to arch. Good defaults with byrfs and snapper out of the box too.

I understood the problems are about security patches being late there, and the freeze periods. Why not usw unstable?
