Because caffeine doesn't work that way people. If you are already tired the coffee will NOT make you more alert it just prevents you from becoming more tired for a short period.

officers grabbed the man, later identified by the police as REDACTED of Atlanta, and dragged him out of the room.

The man's identity should not be allowed to be publicly blasted to the media by police for checks notes NOT committing a crime.
