It really does look grim man. It does matter a bit where you live, but when i listen to my canadian friend, i feel like it's just like here on steroids. He always tells me how he lives in a tiny shitty apartment but pays like 1500 canadian per month and they want to raise rent by 400 buckeroos. Which over here is super illegal and it's also already too expensive. I pay 1600 a month for a whole ass house. I have friends who live in the city and they already pay as much for a really old not too big flat. I do often wonder how people afford to have kids, or what their plan is for the future.
There is a pidcast that i like and they both praised the game and got sponsored by Capcom. I think i have to sit out the next episode, because i kinda don't want to hear them vwing apologetic towards capcom.
I always gear that money vorrupts everyone at some point, and i really wonder if that is true. Like i couldn't imagine making a few million dollars a year and don't say fuck it after a year to never be seen again
I really wanna play the game, but i know it's too big and i will drop it and never pick it up again. It's also too big to play with friends who don't play too often
Man i wish people would understand just how funny it would've been to just drop twitter literally the tay elon took over. Same with reddit. Of course you'll always have people who don't even know, don't care or even like it. But fucking imagine the twitter takeover and only elon and a few of his dick sniffers are basically a private discord server
I always thought the game was really good. I played it for days as a kid. I never got far because some puzzles are pretty much impossible to solve without a guide as far as i remember. I loved the day night cycle, even tho they went kinda crazy with it.
I worked at a young familie's home. By yound i mean she had her first kids pretty young i assume, she was around 40, and he oldest maybe 18. She probably had in total 6 kids in their houshold. There were a lot of pictures of her, her boyfriend and children in the house. It super reminded me of my best friends house when i grew up. They had a lot of children and a lot of fotos, most of them very formal and some hand painted, because that was a thing back then, most of them very nice and framed.
The weird thing i found about her houshold was, all oft the pictures there where heavy filtered. Not just beauty filters, also the dog filters and all that instagram stuff. Something about it was so odd. Some pictures even had instagram handles on it, even the youngest had her own Instagram and he couldn't even write yet. Apparently it was really important to her to get them "good" handles as soon as possible. I dunno, i'm glad i don't have social media and non of my family is into it as well.
I'll never forget 4th grade, middle of the winter 30ish years ago. Back then, ozone and fckw was the big thing and we talked about it in school. I looked out of the window and we had like 60cm of snow. I asked my teacher if that means that we won't have any snow in the future. He said: yes, basically, but it's moving so slow that we won't even realize it in our lifetime. I think that was the last time we had that much snow. It was getting less and less every year. Now we have like a week of a tiny little bit of snow per year. And i still hear people going: see, climate change isn't real when it snows once.
That's exactly how i read that. It's so bizzare that they get kernel access to so many computers, and don't even do the thing that they are supposed to do.
The thing that seems to work pretty well in deep rock is that you can create a server and name it. Usually it's something like greenbeards (noobs) welcome. No cryo (it contradicts fire damage) or what level you have to be at min. Just things like that. I think that would filter out a lot of problems like that. But the drg community also seems way more lay back than the helldivers community.
There are a lot of roundabouts where i live and when i see a tesla, he's either not using his turn signal or is on the phone or somehow very often both. Tesla people seem to be on their phone more often than other people in the road. Which is even weirder, because they all have that elaborate electronics on board, no?
That's r/funny
