Here in OZ, many people have little "book houses" in the front garden, near the foot path. "Take a book, return a book" is the request, so if you have a book youre done with, drop it off in one of these that has something else your interested in.
Let me offer another thought, if you are literally hanging on to windows for this, you could set up a VM in linux for this task. This is how I manage win only apps like my security client (camera vms). You have a license for windows, make it more useful. (and no rebooting to swap!)
Or, a little more controversial, choose another player instead of Apple ipod. Plenty alternates that just work with linux.
I used to have an ipod 20 years ago, and there was a linux "itunes" application, but I doubt its still maintained, or apple has made it impossible for 3rd parties to manage an ipod.
strippers? You mean the cocaine and hookers and cuban cigars, as well as all the blue label you can consume!
You should never go to usenet, you will see unbridled speed for nzb downloads, that are blindingly fast compared to that p2p stuff. Oh and actually 0-days the p2p sites get weeks later.
Take a word such as "Immutable" - an item or object that is incapable of change. Coming from the word "Mutable" which is the opposite - something that can be changed.
These words are from the Latin "mutare" which means "to change".
So if you can see the irony of this, the word immutable should not exist. (and words like transmute and commute probably should not either - but they do suggest "mutare".)
"a bit"? This is totally out of control, and the mod should lose all privleges, to being a mod.
the other part is a person whom speaks english as a second language. Its not always a clear translation, particularly with English since the language is bastardised from many languages, and many "grammar rules" can be broken, by our own design.
Brother MFC-J4440DW Colour Laser, scanner (and fax lol!) $299AUD and the toner cartridges are $39 each (x4) so ~$160 for enough toner for approximately 3000 pages. The printer already comes with toner.
If you don't need more that 20 pages a minute, or higher than 1200x4800 dpi prints, then its hard to beat this!
They would not launch a helicopter to confirm a large scale party.
But even still, so they use a drone and they do confirm a large scale party, then what? They have to deploy the police to the house anyhow. Isn't better to have police just out patrolling and visiting these complaints? Then at least they look like they are doing something for the community.
I have been saying for a while now (10 years+) that internet should be treated like gas, electricity and water. Today its an essential service.
However, at least in OZ, ISPs are not accountable for outages, and should be.
Here, if electricity is out for a certain period, you can claim for spoilage and if its longer than a govt set period, the electricity company must pay you.
same for the other services (but rarely happens).
ISPs should be considered an essential service, and if they are out for 4hrs, then it should start costing by paying the customer.
And possibly there should be clauses for outages that have "catastrophic outcomes" (im not gonna define it, but you get the idea) should result in suitable claims for damages.
This post is a total shitshow. I get the sentiment, and to some amount agree.
But who the fuck wrote this drivel? its the worst shit I've read in seconds on the internet, and that usually takes hours.
you why can join be the a navy pirate when?
