  • You know of twinax so you already know the answer to most of these questions or at least how to find out.

    Coax is used because it’s already widely deployed. It’s also significantly cheaper.

  • Thunderstorms, dust storms.

    Snow is a problem if it sticks to the antenna and the snow melt feature can’t keep up, but it’s never been a significant complaint.

    The only people that complain are the ones that switched from a completely acceptable wired connection to starlink, it this service isn’t designed for them. It’s for me and all the other people that have no other usable options.

  • My company has a summer picnic. They get a few rows of seats at the MLB stadium, and a dedicated area with free food and drinks. I think they pay for a bus from the office to the stadium too.

    It’s on a weekend but they let people bring family members or a date (not that they check)

    It’s actually pretty fun.

  • I’m guessing here, but I think it would help some but they would need to be sync’d: same prop for both, some sort of load sensing and adjustment mechanism.

    You you might be able to get a different prop that puts more load on the motor though.
