  • Duolingo isn't especially good for Japanese. It works better for languages more similar to English in sentence structure where you're making more simple substitutions between English and foreign words.

I second WaniKani as being good for learning kanji, but for grammar I think an old-school textbook/workbook is really helpful in learning the basics. I like Genki I & II as a grammar tutorial but there are others like Minna no Nihongo that others like more.

  • Hollow Knight is the definition of "Rockstar-level nonsense for scope"

I can't believe the large majority of it was made by two people. I have 70 hours in that game and still have a couple things I haven't beaten yet.

    Also cannot wait for Silksong!

  • The site did change the headline. If you google the headline as it appears here, the archived original title from MSN comes up. Therefore, per your final sentence, there is no issue.

Edit: OP even preserved the typo that was included in the original headline!

  • Yeah, probably! That's the one where:

    • The Earth's core has stopped spinning, collapsing the magnetosphere
    • The only way to restart the core is (obviously) to nuke it
    • The crew has to therefore take a ship down to the core, normally impossibly because of temperatures and pressures past the mohorovicic discontinuity
    • But luckily they have Unobtainium! And they make a ship out of it with a laser on front so they can drive down to the core
    • There's a weird side plot about how the techie guy supporting the team actually invented Napster but it was stolen by his roommate
    • A standard Armageddon-style scifi adventure ensures. Except they go down. Instead of up.
