Nintendo aren't in the console war anymore and have't been since the gamecube. Nintendo consoles sell on the strength of Nintendo's first party titles, of which they have many. Nobody else can use their IPs, so that's their USP and as a result they don't need to compete with anyone on graphical capability or processing power. It's its own market.

To be fair, there are two different kinds of immigration: legal and illegal. Some (not all, but some) immigrants who came via the proper legal channels resent those who didn't, and of those who feel that way, some feel that way for selfish "screw you, I got mine" reasons and others feel that way for genuine reasons, such as the fact that supporting illegal immigration is, to a certain extent, supporting the human trafficking and drug trafficking that goes hand-in-hand with it. Borders do serve a purpose and believing that illegal immigration should be curtailed isn't necessarily a hypocritical position for an immigrant.
HOWEVER, that isn't to say that ICE is the answer.
I suspect Trump will more likely move more of the R&D under the auspices of the USSF (ie the Space Force). He can't claim to have "created" NASA, but the space force is his baby.
There is no magic system that will allow us all to live in a world where we don't have to be ever vigilant against corruption. That will ALWAYS be the price of freedom. FOREVER. But we can make it easier on ourselves. Good laws can't solve all our problems, but they can keep them manageable.
We all choose makey-uppy things to believe in, through which we interpret the purpose of our own existence. There's no objective reason to be kind to strangers beyond what we can get out of it - there are plenty of billionaires in the world to prove that selfishness and greed is a valid life strategy - but we CHOOSE to BELIEVE in made-up concepts like fairness and love, because it makes most of us happier to live that way. I see no reason to look down my nose at people who choose a few more made-up concepts to believe in than I do. I'm only bothered by the people who are pig-headed about it, incapable of accepting that people believe in different things than they do... and that category includes people who say "faith is idiocy".

He said this but then never really elaborated. This was the only part of the article I wanted to read more about. It sounded like he was talking about something akin to the EmDrive, but my understanding was that the EmDrive had been debunked as a measurement calibration error, so I'm curious WTF he's talking about.
