  • Hey friend, looks like you might be spinning your wheels yet.

You have two options to get driver support for the 9070:

    • manually update the Linux kernel in mint/pop to 6.13
    • install a distro that has 6.13 by default

Here's a mint thread talking about it, pop os will be the same.

That said, I can't in good conscience recommend the manual route for a Linux newbie, so strongly consider a fedora or arch based distro.

If gaming is your primary use case, the ones with tons of gaming apps and tweaks built in are Bazzite (based on fedora atomic), nobara (based on fedora), and garuda "Dr460nized" gaming (Based on Arch)

  • I'm skeptical about him too.

Re: hip-hop, I think the answer to why he likes it is in the quote itself.

The embrace of Black history as a political tool

It's very possibly genuine, he was in his teens and early twenties as it blew up. But given his record beyond the speech, I think it's reasonable to have doubt.

  • Hold on now, I think you're misconstruing the position.

It's not that they want everyone to suffer, it's that everyone deserves to suffer ... unless chosen by birthright/god to inherit at least 10x what constitutes lifetime earnings for the Middle Class.

You see, they were chosen to lead. Just like the kings of old. Why can't the plebs see that?

  • I love the idea that it changed the minds Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, but we all know their votes were virtue signals for the bourbon state.

Murkowski and Collins are morons but may occasionally have brief flairs of sanity, so I'll give you them :D

  • Yeah, I get that.

It seemed like you presented it as a given that just because it's at a restaurant, it's higher quality.

I was trying offer the counterexample and suggest that the grocery store frozen food is also intentionally different making "quality" difficult to compare.

  • Higher quality seems like a stretch based on the last times someone dragged me to a crappy national chain.

Higher salt and fat content definitely, because that shit tastes good. At the grocery store, you're far more likely to shop for things that seem healthy, and the restaurant meals would have insane nutrition labels (especially if they were honest about restaurant serving sizes).

  • You say 2 years, but the election is 19 months away and early campaigns will start in 8. Shit, we'll probably see the first early messaging by the end of summer. So it's no stretch to believe that some candidates for target races are being vetted already. And that means anger now makes a difference.
