  • As of now they're still considering this a test, so people have to still carry and have available their physical ID in any situation.

But, off the top of my head, say you're going through security and already have your plane ticket on your phone, that is all you will need to have out.

If you're buying some booze at the circle K and already planning to pay with your phone, again no need to get out your wallet.

I dunno if the ends justify the means, but use-case is kinda fun I guess

  • A strawman argument is still a strawman even if there was no malicious intent and it was made through ignorance of making a proper argument.

The phrasing isn't just poor, though, it has a connotation/implication that can only be learned through social context. There's absolutely aggressive intention with the phrasing. At the very least a "gotcha" attempt. Maybe they were raised in that environment and thus are uneducated and generally antagonistic, but then Hanlon's Razor would extend to any acts of hate.

I always like to ask "are you being judgemental or curious?" (Thanks, Ted Lasso)

  • WIKILEAKS released Hilary's emails. Not the media.

WikiLeaks is a shell now, almost non-existent. For years it's been little more than a Twitter account, but even that hasn't posted since June.

  • I dunno. Between Hilary emails and Steele Dossier, I feel like MSM is afraid of being used in manipulation schemes.

Whether by foreign agents or even Trump campaign leaking information themselves, baiting media to release a bland report full of already public information just so he can change the narrative back to Government and MSM colluding against him or whatever BS he wants to spew.

If there is any little reported or good stuff, they can now just research and find their own story and leave out the whole "hack "

Robert could have dumped this stuff anywhere.

  • I used to maintain a list of every time the Republicans of Arizona attempted to stop voter initiatives after they'd been successfully passed.

Tried to stop legalizing medical marijuana by suing

Tried to stop the creation of an independent commission for drawing districts by suing. They've taken the commission to court on at least five separate occasions and lost (using taxpayer money of course)

Initiative to pay teachers more was dismantled and never took place

That's just the top of my head. They also famously made voter initiatives harder to pass. But people still vote for them
