I swear to god. I was scrolling and read this and actually thought it was serious at first. Had a good laugh afterward, so thank you.

Robin Williams. I grew up knowing his more kid-friendly side as the voice of Genie and Batty Koda, his role in Jumanji, etc. Then growing up saw him in films like What Dreams May Come, Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire. When I heard the news he not only died, but by suicide because the man suffered from a severe mental illness it really cut me to the core. It was like losing a favorite silly uncle. I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch any of his movies as I fear it will make me emotionally unstable again. Every year since it seems like I find out more about how much of an amazing character he was, and I'm glad he left a legacy, but god damn does it suck.

I used to tell people it's a movie that switches genres halfway through. Movie leads you to believe you know who the bad guy is, convincing you it may be a sci-fi slasher film. Then the sun(s) go down. Now it's an entirely different type of horror film. It really is a unique fun movie and I have yet to find another one similar.

Hooray for more posturing! Really nice that this current administration has shown without a doubt that our entire system is full of spineless garbage that really will do nothing to balance power, which is literally why those branches of government exist. Yes AOC is a firecracker and more verbal than most. Yes, she drives change and is a speaker for a the people. But without any backup from the entirety of our gov, she's just a megaphone yelling into a void.
