i really like how lemmy.world sorting by hot is a lot better than Reddit hot algorithm

  • I agree with this. Reddits best sort or even hot somehow seemed or felt better with what was shown to you.

    Although Lemmy ain’t bad and I’m sure it’ll better in time (even if it stays the same still beats reddits bs now)

  • Ya I was legit thinking the same thing. Even as a theft deterrent, I don't think they'd care especially if they want it for a joy ride or something?

    • Has anyone else been getting a lot more errors on sh.itjust.works recently? Could the server be overloaded?

  • Ya been getting errors and I'm using the world instance. I imagine it's server capacity and the amount of people posting, joining etc (which is a good thing if that's the case with people coming over)

    • Now no one will ever see all those super long !remindme bot posts set for 5, 10 or 15 years on Reddit

  • I'm using wefwef as well and it's legit a Apollo clone which is awesome! Now just need more people to come over to here and Lemmy will be even better then Reddit since it's part of the fediverse
