  • I may be stupid.

But I have no idea how people are comparing "better" or "worse" cables. I always just assumed they were just cables.

Edit: for people downvoting me, I'm not saying they are just cables, I'm just saying I don't know what the difference is, and asking for an explanation. Please calm down.

  • They have no concept of "human" or "mother"

Actually, they do. Maybe not in the words we use for it, but a cat can recognize their mother and can determine humans apart from other species. It may not be an complex psychological process of ranking them, but they recognize.

  • I don't think they question it. Just like if you feed a stray cat, they will often continue to come back

"Human gives food. I stay with human."

It was this evolutionary trait that allowed us to domesticate animals in the first place. I don't know if they have the complex psychological capacity to question or doubt it to that level. It's a trust bond, not a superiority one.

  • Saying they defeated fascists doesn't imply there are no more fascists left.

I can say I hunted deer, that doesn't mean there are no more deer left in the wild.

By referring to "fascists" (the people) rather than fascism (the ideology) you narrow your description to more accurately present the scope of your statement. The German Nazi party were fascists. They were defeated. We defeated fascists that day. There are more fascists, but that doesn't mean we didn't fight and defeat some number of fascists.

  • "Pain during labor is caused by contractions of the muscles of the uterus and by pressure on the cervix. This pain can be felt as strong cramping in the abdomen, groin, and back, as well as an achy feeling."

    https://kidshealth.org

The muscles are fully capable of performing the action. The contractions and spasms are the pain, as your body prepares them for what they need to do.

Besides, it's not actually the uterus that needs to contract, it's the cervix. And we have no way of knowing if elastagirl has manual control over her cervix. Most women don't have control over their cervix, hence why these contractions have to happen for childbirth to take place. It could also be risky to the fetus to try to stretch enough to make that happen.

  • Honestly, more of the world (and especially the US) was strongly opposed to the Nazis during WWII than the population now, because it's been so long. Which makes the fact you gave even more frustrating for me honestly. Because we have the information now. We know. There's no excuse for present day.

  • These people never seem to realize that even at its most basic level, ensuring equal rights and freedoms requires a level of forfeiting individual freedoms. In order for everyone to have equal right to physical safety, you forego your freedom to punch them in the face without consequence.

These people go to talk about democracy, describe anarchy, then get upset when reality doesn't meet their expectations. Your expectations don't meet reality, bud.

  • "Correcting a broken bone out of alignment is... Strategically re-aligning through use of force to snap it back into position in order to enable proper healing?

That's literally breaking a bone again."

I'm trusting the doctors more than you on this one, buddy

  • The problem with YouTube is that people make real money off of their content, in an honest way. Unless you can match or exceed that level of income, you don't have much of a chance of competing. People's livelihoods would be at stake

Reddit was big, but not profitable for users. At most, it was a social boost and marketing. That's easily replaceable. Real, significant profiting, not so much.

  • Considering contractions would be part of the birthing process caused by hormones overall, probably still painful. I don't think her uterus realizes it's elastagirl on a hormonal level. Just because you know and can solve the issue doesn't mean your body stops freaking out
