I disagree. My parents, big Roku users, wondering why Roku was becoming hostile to its customers with policy updates that require a remote to agree to, ads coming through cables (HDMI patent), were able to understand the nature of the company at the moment through the explanation of enshittification.
It integrates very well, and gets better over time. You don’t need Outlook Calendar anymore, the OneDrive portion makes more sense than the actual website it’s pulling from, and the new Planner app is actually decent compared to the old one that was buggy af inside of Teams.
War, with its life and death seriousness, doesn’t leave a lot of room for nuanced arguments. Those are for peacetime. For now it’s simply Russia is the aggressor, Ukraine the defender, and Ukraine represents western democracy in a part of the world that is known for corrupt oligarchs. We back Ukraine not just because it’s right, but sensible. it’s that simple imo.
I was in a gas station around UNC Chapel Hill of all places standing in line behind a couple younger guys who were saying insane things about how Palestine’s not a real state, they’re just migrant squatters and seemed to mock anyone hurt or killed that opposed Israel. They reminded me of ‘Murican’s talking about how strong and right America is, but from the Jewish perspective with Israel in its stead.
It’s hard to describe how sickening it was to hear. And they’re like, 20.
Ukraine being clearly having the moral high ground as a sovereign state defending itself, yes, expect to be downvoted for trying to contract what we all see with our own eyes.
I’ve lost a lot of sympathy and just regard for Israel’s right to exist. I don’t want anyone to suffer, but I could care less if Israel as a political power were to disappear tomorrow if it meant a halt to the indiscriminate killing of people having nothing to do with attacks on Israeli people/territory.
It’s nuts because me 10 years ago would smack current me across the mouth for even thinking such a thing. As things are, Israel is acting like a bunch of nazis. Just crazy.
Russia is just helping those who want to leave leave yes that’s the ticket. The best way to do this is to try to decapitate the country’s leadership with a full scale invasion that includes devastating its infrastructure affecting millions of civilian lives.
Perhaps, but my concern is investing time and energy helping customers learn a system and that system becoming financially unsustainable. I welcome change, but my customers don’t. Hearing that it’s only for new customers is a relief.
The company says Office 365 suites with Teams will no longer be sold to new business subscribers, but will continue to be available for existing customers that opt to continue using the bundled products, even upon renewal.
So if your company already has 365 that includes teams, as long as it renews 365 there’s no additional/separate cost for Teams?
The are progressive groups, but the best they get is a compromised Democratic Party beholden to corporations if they want to continue being elected. IMO.
