Agree. The size of the community seems to correlate with the number of trolls, which can quickly change the tone of a platform. Trolls are more active, outspoken, and literally feed on negativity.
ATMs are offline due to EMP blast, which also killed your cell phone, cell towers, and battery to your car which is stuck in gridlocked traffic. Provided you made it far enough to actually get gas, others who didn’t have your foresight begin to eye your resources.
I say anna-bee-otics. My father is a veterinarian, and would abbreviate antibiotics to anna-bees when speaking with techs about prescriptions. This affected how he’d say antibiotics, and I spent so much time with him over the years I picked up the habit.
It’s pronounced quickly, where if I say it properly I spend conscious thought saying an-tie-bye-otics.
I’m not exhausted, I feel like the news has failed in mission to speak truth to power. That continuing to give them my attention only serves probably someone’s capitalist bottom line.
This is going to sound weird but so is the internet their icon suggests a chain of bodies eating out the ass of the one in front of them which to me seems apt for the product
Well that’s crappy. University employee here. We get week of Xmas off, and most people have so much leave they need to burn December is a wash productivity wise.
I don’t get it. The death penalty doesn’t seem to deter people from committing heinous crimes. The practice seems more for the families who want closure, but morally we should be above killing unnecessarily. Whether someone is jailed for life in solitary or sentenced to death does not change the fact that they will never be able to harm another member of society.
And don’t get me wrong, if someone kills a loved one I will want them dead, but my emotions should not drive taxpayer funded punishment.
Guns in America. The need to act inspires fear on part of enthusiasts to buy more guns, ammo, support politicians that bolster stonewalls to any legislation that could make the country safer from irresponsible gun owners. The lack of meaningful action while this is happening shows how screwed the nation is as a gun cult continues to grow and grow.
I tried War of the Chosen but find the story confusing. Did they allude to these additional factions in 2 or do they just drop you in the story as if in mid stream?
I’ve spent a lot of time on the XCOM games. Installed 2 recently and having almost as much fun as the first time (this is like the 10th).
I’ve tried Risk of Rain 2 a few times. Like the comment I left about Rim World below, it just doesn’t click with me and I love shooters. Wondering what I’m missing that everyone else sees.
This is how this situation was depicted in a made for TV movie on NBC. https://youtu.be/n28NoLNarNs
