Long answer: A few days after your link was posted, the appeals court put the ruling on hold. SCOTUS is now trying to decide whether or not they will take up the case. As of three weeks ago, SCOTUS declined to speed up their decision making on whether or not they will even hear the case.

Delaying a game like this relatively last-minute and giving it an extra year of development is waaaay more expensive than the bonuses would have been.

I'm more bothered by the fact that it's not enough of an insult for this piece of shit. Barbie is supposed to be some sort of idealized female form. That does not fit for Noem at all, in my opinion, and it's also irrelevant.

No, it is not normal at all. You are talking about a relief package to help people rebuild. Those come later. This article is talking about search and rescue teams. Those teams go in as soon as possible to help find and rescue people.

By the way, the author's attitude really pisses me off a lot. Even ex-DOGE workers have since said they found very little fraud or waste to cut yet they still took a chainsaw to the federal workforce.

Yeah, you don't really believe that, do you? Sure he's claiming that for taxes or whatnot, but it's his business that pays his rent or mortgage, utilities, travel, legal expenses, and anything else the poors have to struggle to pay. That $1000 per week is just walking around and dining out money.

It's entirely possible that there is dirt on him or other higher up among the dems that don't want it released. There are also leaders and/or ministers of foreign nations in the file. The USA releasing it could impact relationships with allies.

They love fancy words written on parchment. It doesn't seem to matter too much what the specific words are, as long as the words mean that they are special. But you're right, they never read, or at least understand, the documents they worship.
