  • Adultery, in my opinion would just fall under perjury as it amounts to breach of (the marriage) contract from a legal standpoint. That means the only significant rules are against lying, stealing, and illegally killing people. That's just 30% of them.

They should really put up signs that simply say, "DON'T BE A DICK" Of course, if you put up that sign, conservatives would all get up in arms claiming that it's a partizan political attack aimed at them because being a dick is a fundamental part of conservatism.

  • “The director and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that, understandably, have garnered public interest,” Mr. Bongino said, oddly referring to the pipe bombs as a potential act of public corruption rather than domestic terrorism.

So it was, Marjorie Taylor Greene after all.

  • I read a book called Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven many years ago about a comet hitting the Earth. There was a scene in the book, after the impact, where a rich guy manages to finally reach a place up in the mountains where he has supplies stashed, only to find that his employees have claimed it for themselves and won't let him in because he's basically useless in the new world of survival.

If you were working for Huffman or Musk or any of the rest of them, and a there was a huge society ending disaster, would you let them in when they showed up or would you just shoot them down with their own guns? I know what I would do. I can't imagine anyone letting them in.

  • “But for those that would like to see eternal and everlasting life, I encourage you to embrace my lord and savior, Jesus Christ.”

Oh, hey, well good for you. You have nothing to fear then. So get on with it you fucking psycho. Go feed yourself the business end of a shotgun instead of killing the poor and the helpless and let the rest of us work on cleaning up the mess your kind are making.

  • A former MMA UFC fighter, who is suffering from delusions, was arrested for abusing his his own family (who he believes to be imposters), was then released on $2000 bond. A few days later he was arrested again for the same thing and released on $1000 bond. Is it maybe just possible that he shouldn't be out at all?

  • And they are being sued for doing so. It is a violation of the merger agreement they entered into during the merger with Ben & Jerry's, as your post says. This must be Ben & Jerry's daring them to keep violating the contract.

  • Why do people keep saying this? It wasn't a failure at all from his perspective. He didn't go in there to make government more efficient. He went in there to:

    • Get investigations and lawsuits against his companies dropped,
    • Get more government contracts for those companies,
    • and to kneecap the agencies that regulate his companies.
    • installed a bunch of Starlink access points all over government to upload all the data to Russia the cloud...

This was a complete success by any metric he cares about.

Edited to add the last bullet point.

  • I picture God, if there is one, as a researcher who is doing some kind of research on the plants and animals in an Earth shaped petri dish. He may have intervened in ancient times until he got the initial parameters he wanted but now he's just monitoring and taking notes. Someday he'll finish up and kill everything and start the dissection phase.
