Standing my ground on going back to the office

  • Hell yea dude. Stand your ground.

    WFH is the best option for office work. It makes no sense for many jobs to be in office.

    Currently my company does remote hybrid but theres talk of going full remote and i would be over the moon for that. Dont give up man! And good on you for polishing your resume to prepare for the worst.

  • I would agree that this is one of the biggest barriers to entry other than software compatibility.

    If i was able to use ILok on linux for my music plugins and vsts, then id likely make the switch. But unfortunately ILok doesnt seem to be interested at least not since i last checked.

  • When i first started using linux and used vim i thought "wow this sucks but i guess its all i got for now"

    Little did i know that Nano exists. Never again vim.

  • Me personally, I like Jellyfin. Im not using it daily atm. But when i was, i used it purely for streaming music and it was great for that.

    LTT did a video on both a while back and its kind of a toss up imo. Depends on what you care about. Id recommend that video.
