All large AI systems are built of multiple "gpus" (AI processers like Blackwell ). Really large AI models are run on a cluster of individual servers connected by 800 GB/s network interfaces.

However igpus are so slow that it wouldn't offer significant performance improvement.

For keyboards and some other parts you can window shop at Amazon and then go direct to the manufacturer's website to make a purchase.

I have a Watts RO system. It's been working without issue for 15 years now. What I like about it is it's not really a "Watts" but rather Watts is like a PC brand made up of interchangeable parts. Everything is standard based on hose diameter. You can add or change whatever you want at any time from any other brand as long as it uses the same diameter quick connect tubes. Last year I added a remineralization that wasn't part of the original system.

If the basement under the kitchen is unfinished, install the system high up on the wall under the kitchen. (High up to minimize head loss) Maintenance becomes trivial when you have room to work on it. The previous owner had it installed under the sink. We didn't realize it when buying the house but because it was tucked at the back under the sink, it had been leaking for years. Half the kitchen needed to be gutted and rebuilt because of mold.

The amount was fixed by the contract you signed. You knew what the tax credit was going to be because the salesman likely highlighted it as part of the sale. If you did it yourself, you'd have an every more detailed knowledge of the costs and timeline. Unless it was finished in December, you could have adjusted your withholdings.

I've done everything from $100 repairs on my house, $80k renovations, to multi million dollar business deals. Even the bat specialist who moved the bats out of my front required a contract.

It is completely absurd that you had an extremely unique tax situation ( tax credits on a project ending in December so no withholding adjustments could be made) yet your first post was authoritative general tax advice without mentioning it was specific to your condition. Then you had the nerve to call me out for giving general advice.

That you are getting solar tax credits doesn't change that you could have and should in the future adjust your withholdings. You knew you were going to get money back months ago but didn't change your withholdings.

Why would you want your taxes done early? That makes absolutely no sense.

If you expect a refund, you have been doing your taxes wrong. Stop taking exemptions. You always want to owe under $1,000. Refund money is free money you lent the government that pays 0%.

If you owe money, you have even less reason to pay taxes early.

It can't melt through such a large mass of steel in the short time it has before it hits. The lasers are meant for missiles which have very thin metal walls. Also, the AP rounds aren't explosive. They're a solid mass of steel.

The important part is to not stop until it actually can have an effect. Cut off the oil in 18 months so inflation skyrockets before mid terms.

Where are we going to buy TSMC chips from? Samsung and Intel are behind in manufacturing. There is no alternative so American companies will pay the tariff. It isn't a tax on foreign companies. It's a tax on American consumers.

Consumers will see 25% higher prices. It will crash the economy. But again, it is Americans who pay tariffs. It is Americans who will suffer.

If a company imports Nvidia chips into Canada they don't pay American tariffs. Tariffs are only paid when those chips are sold into the US. Trump is giving a competitive advantage to Canadian tech companies.

They sold out at $2k. They'd sell out at $3k.
It doesn't matter that it's a weak release. There is no alternative product.

Gpus represent only a small part of Nvidia's revenue. They make the bulk of their money on data center products. If OpenAI needs $10B more B200's, they'll open an office in Vancouver and avoid the tariff.

Nvidia won't be hurt. Corporations won't be hurt. They only people to suffer will be American consumers.

Nvidia doesn't care. Tariffs do not affect their profits at all. If anything, it increases their profits.

The reason is that Nvidia has a monopoly on high end gpus and AI hardware. Tariffs can only influence a country if there is a competitor that could undercut them.

It's not like Intel is making 5090's so a 25% tariff would allow Intel to be competitive.
