Rick Beato: abusive to his kid

I tried to find a source but it all seems to be memes in the music community because his videos are click baity and his books/lessons aren't good.

Some of the abuse comments are obvious jokes, "He dyed his son's hair white and makes him play the oboe."

Did you link the wrong video about Rick Beato? The video (I only watched part of it) was an overview of his videos being taken down by YouTube; sometimes against the wishes of the artists themselves.

I don't think Rick Beato's constant rants about YouTube's takedown policy make him a bad person.

The idea that Russia would escalate if it loses in Ukraine is absolutely ridiculous. Russia in 2014 was doing great. If Ukraine wins, Russia goes back to a prosperous nation like it was in 2014.

Humans are engines. Stop eating and you will lose weight. I didn't make any claims about health. But you absolutely are an engine. The proof is that if you stop eating, you will die. Different fuels burn differently but you can't defy the laws of physics.

IMO its currently propped up by two effects. Musk going hard right making investors think Republicans will buy Teslas to support Trump. I also think they believe that Musk being in the government will get Trump to hand Telsa some sweet government money.

It's turning out that Republicans won't buy Teslas even if Musk is full Nazi. Plus, Tesla has lost the entire rest of the world market by going full Trump.

That you don't pay for gmail doesn't mean it isn't monetized. Google makes $220 Billion a year from ads.

Who pays subscriptions for file backup?

Google drive, Onedrive, and iCloud are forced down all users throats. Millions pay. A quick google says Apple makes $96 Billion a year from iCloud alone.

It's not VRAM, it's ram in general. Deepseek needs ~700GB. Ram prices have been dropping about 30% every 5 years (and that's ideal numbers. Moore's law is dead. Current improvements are smaller than looking back 5 years). It's about $6k to build your own Epyc for 6 tokens/sec. No average person is going to spend $6k when a service does it for $10 a month and is 10x faster. Do the math for how long it will be until $6k of ram costs $600.

But the real killer that will keep AI out of consumer hands for forever is that it is reliant on new models to include updated information that was scraped from the Internet. If you ask Deep Seek about anything that's happened in the past year, it can't give any answers because the model was built with older data. So Google, Apple, Microsoft and anyone capable of indexing the entire web will always have an AI model that is updated with the latest information. Home users will be lucky to get models with information that is several years out of date. Building models requires 100x the resources as running the trained model and you need the data to train it.

The pool is selected from the press and has traditionally had representatives of each major media outlet. The pool travels with the President at all times. A PC lets you replace the CPU, ram and plug in multiple pcie cards.

This is less upgradable than the average laptop.

This is a standard a370 mini PC at a high price.
