Yea you are right I might be able to change sometime in the future.

I don't understand why it was put in the middle, it should be in the lower right corner, lowest power, and highest difficulty.

Two months ago I had to buy a new phone because my new bank's app refused to install on the android version of my previous (perfectly working) android phone that I had had for 6 years. The phone brand was not providing android updates for it.

And I was required to install the app because the website of the bank needed a code that only the app could provide in order to access my account.

And the app itself required a code that I could only get by SMS.

In normal situation I would have gone to a different bank but this time I can't because I signed my mortgage with this bank...

And everything is a slog with them, I hate this bank. And I will be stuck with them for decades.

It should be illegal for bank to refuse access if don't have the 'correct' phone OS

I respectfully disagree with you saying ai generated images are not art, it is "a form" of art, and saying so doesn't equate to saying art is unimportant or that the human aspect doesn't matter. Art is important, the human aspect does matter a great deal. Art is about ideas and means to express them, AI-gen does allow it in different ways than previously but right now you still have a sentient being with an idea to prompt the AI.

What you are saying looks a lot like what people used to say about photography not being art, and fear mongering about photography replacing other forms of art like painting. The opposite happened, photography shaped into its own form of art, and painting evolved to new era of amazing ideas.

I see, in french "Evasion fiscale" refer to both legal and illegal practices, which does create confusion sometimes when talking about it. We have other terms to clarify like "fraude fiscale" and "optimisation fiscale" but evasion is synonymous to both. When french NFP party talks about fighting "evasion fiscale" they mean they plan to fight both. Maybe the distinction got lost in translation.

What is the difference between tax evasion and tax avoidance ? Genuinely asking, I thought they were the same, might be a language barrier, English is not my native language.

Have you seen the word "income"anywhere here ? ISF (Impôt sur la fortune) is tax on wealth, this law would say that if someone is rich we take some of its money. We use to have it in France before Macron removed it. Also the same leftist group is advocating for more funding towards fighting tax evasion amongst the wealthy.

EDIT: my bad the article does talk about income tax, point still stand, NFP still advocate for the ISF

They probably wanted to get rid of you. So instead of firing you, they imposed stupid rules to makes you leave on your own.

I thought all thorium based reactor were still at the research stage. I made a quick search to see if there was any in actual use but couldn't find a source. If you have one please send it I'm really interested.

If they are still at the research stage then I'll wait until one is built at scale to decide whether they are a better alternative.
