  • Socialism doesn't do that, authoritarian right wing divergence in Socialism do.

Leninism was a reactionary end to socialist revolution, not an illustrative example.

Makno's Black Army territories much better illustrate how Socialism works.

    Once again, Ukraine > Russia

  • No Leninist and Authoritarian society ever managed to turn control of the means of production over to the workers.

Besides, with more attentive you would find that even Lenin's abortive revolution was preferable to Tsarist Russia.

Either way Makno's Black Army territories are more illustrative of Socialism than examples based in Leninist counterrevolution and tyranny.

  • He was born rich and mostly tanks whatever he runs. All of his infrastructure idea like the tesla tunnels / ineffective smoke inhalation death traps are just worse and less effective versions of existing technology.

His electric trucks are a bad idea, the tunnels are a bad idea, his electric dock is equally bad, etc.

His incentives are to rip you off. Not transport of.

While we're at it, teslas are of course terrible cars.

  • Yeah, that's fair. My difficulty is feeling like chronic conditions are mostly ignored. In this particular case, I had a study that recommended a very specific course of action for my specific conditions, which didn't seem particularly woo to my eyes.

But yeah, every doctor should instead be 3 doctors, plus a dietician, pharmacist, and other health care providers. All working for holistic health of the patients.

The fact that this isn't happening isn't the fault of the doctors, but a lack of societal care for health.

  • My regular doctor refused to engage with research-based approaches to long-term health that cure underlying disease. Referred me to a naturopath instead. I'm talking about a study supporting targeted anti- and probiotics as a possible cure for a chronic condition.

Most doctors seem to busy to even consider preventative medicine.
