  • Ideally the automated post would also pull the teams name from a source and put them in the threads titles

  • Happy to help!

If you have an account on lemmy.ml, feel free to have a look and try by yourself, but at least from the crosspost, Dessalines told me that it is a bug they are tracking.

  • If I may, there a few UI bugs on 0.19.4:

    • crossposts do not work
    • emojis cannot be used
    • automatic titles do not work

I reported those on !community@reddthat.com (which is running 0.19.4 since this morning) if you want to have a look

  • It's not that active (for such a generalist topic) and I always thought because it was on lemmy.ml.

But as I said, personal finance communities probably gain to be on countries instances to be relevant to their audiences

  • Happy lemmyversary!

  • I didn't follow up that closely, what lead you to change your stance and federate compared to before?

  • Indeed, defederation as the instance level should really be a a last resort, especially now that we have user-level muting of instances.

I’m not into politics myself and it drives me crazy that we can’t rely on fine communities because they are on instances defederated by big instances because of their political views.

To be honest it's not always politics, Beehaw didn't defederate for political reasons but lack of moderation tools

  • Happy Lemmyversary, thank you for your work on your instance!

  • Indeed. Which is more or less already the case (LW communities dominating lemmy.ml ones).

The remaining ones are Linux and FOSS, but hopefully those will find alternatives too.

  • I don’t feel like I’m being secluded, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. I have seen hate for .ml users and hexbear users, and I really don’t get it. The fediverse shouldn’t be segregating users based on what instance they’re in. That’s like saying all US citizens are awful because they live there.

I agree with you for Lemmy.ml

I'm not so sure about hexbear, people don't randomly end up there
