EDIT: Forgive me stranger, I don't know you but I'm about to go off on this because it's such a fucking stupid take.
America should be calling for a ceasefire. And America didn't sock anyone in the mouth (recently). Hamas did. And it was disgusting. No one should excuse shooting up a music festival. Jesus Christ . . .
At face value, your metaphor is twisted. Hamas isn't calling for a "timeout", but everyone outside should. Before this spills over!!
What you SHOULD imagine is empathy. Imagine your house being bombed because your asshole neighbor shot up a music festival. Imagine your water stops running. Imagine having a 3 hour notice before your house turns to rubble. Imagine being in a hospital, visiting your father who got bombed and then that hospital gets bombed. Imagine if the whole world started thinking you and your asshole neighbor bomber were the same person!
Imagine living with your head under a rock for so long, that you think this conflict began with the recent Hamas terror attack. RESEARCH!!
Hard to heal when triggers keep being pulled. A ceasefire is the most blatantly obvious next step to advocate for. And it's actively being discouraged internally
I've always been a Wes Anderson junky. This one is a barrage of information, but as charming as ever. The story told via cascading letters is also very fun. Gives Dracula (book) vibes
Ya, genocide will do that
