B) Most of the smog in an area has been recently produced by the pollution source (factory, power planet, forest fire, cars, etc) it's not building up over a very long time, usually a few days at most if the winds are really light.

The US government has serious issues, but not 22 square foot rental issues. Being homeless in California is literally a better quality of life than tens of millions of Chinese citizens experience.

This is not good.

When the math starts not mathing properly, there are usually real problems.

The USSR was integrated too, and still broke up.

I still think the US states splitting up like the USSR did is entirely on the table.

California is not going to continue being the republican punching bag and funding red states forever.

A split like this would likely allow some people to move, and ease the tensions measurably.

The states would still trade/function with each other, I don't expect them to go to war or anything.

Good ideas, but also the retaliation tariffs are not planned to be on everything, the last time we saw this it was things like targeting Tennessee whisky and other specific luxury goods. While they would harm consumer choice, there are tons of alternatives in many of those categories from both Canada and elsewhere.

Ballot stuffing is pretty easy to detect statistically, and there hasn't been any evidence of it happening and definitely not at the scale required to affect the election results.
