It'll get fixed in iOS 18.2 or something and every device running something older will simply be stuck forever with a broken Safari.
I use to report bugs in older versions of iOS that caused problems on my devices, and they would usually not get fixed until an entirely new version of iOS was released.
For example, the App Store in iOS 6 will crash 100% of the time when viewing your Purchase History if you have too many items. This was reported to Apple several times by different people. I believe it was fixed in iOS 7. Which was great for the iPhone 3GS that was forever stuck on iOS 6 and would never get the fix.
dogs are slobbery, stinky, and loud and you have to take them outside a lot and they aren't always compatible with many living situations. plus there is a certain dangerous breed that completely fills up shelters beyond capacity and has a weird cult-like following.
kitties are like perpetual cute babies and are way, way easier to take care of.
you see sites like reddit or lemmy or youtube or whatever fill up with so many cat pictures and videos for a reason.
I am also a cat & dog parent. Dealing with our dogs over the past few months has been significantly more stressful than dealing with our cats. Take the 4th of July, for example. Our cats didn't like the noise from fireworks, but were mostly fine. Our dog was beyond terrified. I couldn't get her to go potty outside because she refused to go out there. I also had to sleep next to her in her crate to comfort her. We have to take her with us if we will be gone for a while or find someone to watch her.
I've noticed this, too. Ever since Memmy first came out. Images randomly cannot be swiped away.
It's either images that don't swipe away with Memmy or the entire screen becoming unresponsive to touch with Voyager/wefwef. The two best Lemmy clients each have their own issues.
Well, the destruction of Twitter AND Reddit, especially so close to each other, is leaving a hole in my heart.
The magic of the "fediverse" can be both a bandaid and a fix.
A shiny, new replacement (Mastodon and Lemmy) for me to fall back on for comfort, and a new paradigm of social interaction (Fediverse) that will hopefully offer long-term immunity from assholes that want to destroy everything.
The more people on the Fediverse, the better it can become for everyone.
Well, the 3D wasn't the best and it lacked the "true" transparencies that helped both 2D and 3D games (something other consoles had). It also didn't have the video processing of the PSX.
Bad hardware design (with its difficult development) is what helped tank it. It had a great head start in sales, but quickly lost out to the PlayStation.
I know it had some decent 2D games available (the Saturn version of X-Men vs. Street Fighter is the only one that was nearly arcade-perfect), but what exactly was the hardware specialized for?
I thought Threads joining the fediverse was a GOOD thing, and even the Mastodon Org seems cool with this. More users = better.
Wanting to block Threads does nothing to Meta, and only hurts users. It would be like blocking all email from Gmail because you know they read your messages to generate targeted ads. You wouldn't be teaching Google a lesson, just hindering interoperability between people.
Despite the literal mountains of shit that has come out of China, they are capable of making some nice things.
The RG35XX hit the right spot of having "good enough" hardware at a low price. It's been a smash success.
If you look at something like the RG353M, it costs more than twice as much as the RG35XX, is a little faster, but its design feels ultra premium like something Samsung or even Apple would make. It's compact, metal, and has quite a bit of heft.
how did you make it to Fediverse-B without knowing about Fediverse-A?
