  • Is it possible to not have the blinding white flash of white on open?

In a dark room with dark mode on and my brightness turned down, the all-white splash of Voyager is quite disturbing.

  • I figured that some form of Mega Man has been in various games, spin-offs, and compilations released every few months for the past 35 years.

If Capcom is bringing Mega Man "back", when was Mega Man gone?

  • Yeah, but how many dogs did he start out with?

  • So proud

    Jump
  • me irl

  • I need a mod for my phone my that just makes every icon a picture of some character with their mouth wide open, yelling.

(refer to this reddit post for what I mean)

    Calculator? Someone yelling.

    Settings? Someone yelling.

Camera app? Believe it or not, someone yelling.

  • I think the prices have been like this:

    The iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 6, 6S, and 7 were all $649.

    iPhone 8 was $699 and iPhone X was $999.

The iPhone XS Max was $1099.

So the price was steady for quite a while.

  • Does Digg have a reward system?

  • Because everyone knows that live chat rooms are exactly like message forums with content that can be voted up and down.

  • I was paying $90 a month for cable TV (which is full of ads) and found myself spending more time watching videos on YouTube.

So I cancelled the $90 cable and paid the $12 for YouTube to get rid of its ads. Without the annoyance of ads, I started spending even more time on YouTube.

I can still sometimes find live news or clips from earlier cable programming and other stuff on YouTube, so I'm not totally cut off from what I watched on cable.

It's pricy, but can be worth it.

  • It's like you and your friends getting kicked out of a restaurant and then deciding to hang out at a shoe store instead of just finding a different restaurant...

    Discord is nothing like reddit/lemmy/kbin.

  • it's chaotic as fuck and nothing like reddit / lemmy / kbin.

  • Well, heck. It is like Apollo in that regard. I can add all the dumb meme communities to favorites and not have them clog up my timeline. I guess I'll be using Voyager more.

Memmy was almost there with its Favorites support, but they require subscriptions to function (which is how the official Reddit app also works).

  • It doesn't look super-iOS, but it is a clone of an iOS app.

  • Can we pay for a blue checkmark yet?

  • In Memmy, I added a few communities to Favorites.

As soon as I unsubscribed from them, they disappeared from both Subscripts and Favorites.

Are there different Favorites options with web and app versions?

  • They work just fine.

They get you off cigarettes. Problem solved.

You'll just be vaping all the time, instead.

They were never for quitting everything. Just cigarettes.

  • I've been dealing with SSDs since the early days of Windows XP.

A lot of drives have had a lot of problems.

Like, the most recent I have dealt with was with Samsung 980 SSDs and the critical flaw in their firmware.

  • I say keep the flow coming, because the good shit eventually floats to the top.

The more people here, the more attractive it becomes to bigger-names, which will then bring their audience over.
