Why is it that all good calculator manufacturers also have a dark side? I have an RPN calculator made by HP, back in the day they made the holy Grail of RPNs the 32 SII. But they are the single worst thing that has happened to printer ink.
Fire code in Canada, all new buildings need a pressurized sprinkler system. The pipe runs through the attic to a sprinkler head on the ceiling. But the dick head contractor did not insulate the pipe portion that was running through the uninsulated attic.
Oh and when the sprinkler is triggered only the fire department can turn it off.
Sprinkler in the attic burst due to the cold and flooded 10 condos including my own. Great way to relax on a Sunday night, losing a battle to water rushing in from vent, sprinkler heads, lighting fixtures. Currently living out of a Best Western while they are drying out my apartment. Next step demo and restoration, yay.
My dishwasher is connected to the network. I can start it from my phone but it's more convenient to press start when I close the door and put in soap. The only reason I'd want it to be connected to the network is if it had tiny cameras inside. Why do network connected dishwashers not have tiny cameras and lights, so I can watch it actually cleaning my dishes?!
It's concrete, not cement. Cement does fuck all without water, aggregate and sand. Don't forget your tensile strength in rebar. It's like calling ketchup tomatoes.
Jon and Vinny's is such great food too, it's a shame that they pull this shit. Last time I went, I just rounded up to the nearest $ and paid with cash. I'm not tipping on top of an 18% auto gratuity. I would say they should just raise their prices, but that place is already very expensive...
