I have literally fired a machine gun until liquid carbon is running down the gun and spraying on my face and I've likely had more lead from pipes and paint chips than anything else.

DOD has bought Teslas for it's GOV fleet before.

They want you to think that they didn't know this was going to happen. They want you to come out and say "Man, they didn't see that coming! How silly of them!" as they buy the country out from under you. They want you to think he's the 'bad' one...

Well, the problem is you're thinking logically. It's an ideological victory on both ends for him.

Conservatives view this as strengthening the military, not weakening it.

The actual strength of America's Military doesn't matter because they don't have hostile nations on their borders. So when America's Military loses some of their force projection ability it can be used to say we're turning towards isolationist policy, which is also a win for him. (From the Putin angle and from the Conservative one)

And, again, if you point out that this move will weaken the American Military, well what are you? A terrorist who doesn't believe they have the greatest, manliest fighting force ever seen?
