  • It sorta depends on your physical security. If you live in a town, then sure, you can't know who's eavesdropping. But if you park in my yard, several hundred meters from the nearest public road, then I think we'd notice before you could do any damage.

  • From what I can gather, the proposed battery will have a capacity of 8.5GWh with a nominal output of 85MW. But it can store 85MW (not MWh) for 100 hours? Either that article is written by someone who doesn't really know what they're relaying, or that's some serious standby power dissipation.

Anybody here who passed high school physics and have some insights?

  • Best tattoos are done in prisons. Those are the tattoos with depth and meaning. Much more organic than store bought tattoos. The tattoo artist has a bond to their tools, as they've crafted the tools themselves and they mix the ink right in your cell. And besides, anyone can get a tattoo, but you will have a tattoo with a story and real price. Imagine instead of going oh that? I got that tat because I was bored and had spending cash, you can say I got that tat when I was locked up for robbing Wendy's with an alligator, the infection almost cost me my arm, but it was worth it

Obviously that was all /s but somehow I think I need to point it out.

  • The only cool part I thought was looking through the binocular things and spying on other tourists. I was an odd kid whatever

Yes, that is indeed extremely strange behavior. I don't believe that it has ever been reported before /s

  • I have all the autodesk products available in software center from my job. Decided to give fusion a try, as it includes what was once eagle as well as enough 3d for my use... Online only? Where file? No offline stl because conversion is done online? GTFO! I'm back to using inventor and an ancient eagle version.

  • I haven't read the case either. But what I do know is the news media isn't always as nuanced in their reporting of court cases, as the cases warrants.

If that is the case here I don't know. Musk is a POS, so everything is definitely possible. All I'm saying is that if it actually is a breach of contract, then Musk could have a case.

But imagine signing a contract, where you have to buy a set amount of advertising, with no clause about the site's conduct and reputation.

  • To quote Legal Eagle on Nebula: it depends. Suppose that the customers had a deal with Twitter granting them special pricing, but on the condition that they spend a certain amount during a given period. Then the customers could be breaching the terms of the contract by dropping out halfway through. I'm not saying that's what's happening here, and IANAL of course, but it seems plausible to me.
