Can confirm, I deliver to some apartment buildings that are 55+ Section 8 and out of the 32 apartments 4 are vacant, 3 of which have been for well over a year. The others are folks that have been there for years, but I'm sure if they moved or passed on their old place would have the same fate.
But the towns housing department doesn't have enough people for maintenance, yet they make all this money regardless of occupancy.

Used to live in Chaves county for many years. Law enforcement there is even worse than the rest of what you hear in the country for a few reasons. Roswell PD for example would pay for your police training, so these guys and gals would get a free ride to FLETC as long as they were going to join RPD.
However, most of the time they would graduate, start working in Roswell and immediately realize how shitty the town and corruption within RPD was and transfer to another office, usually out of state. It became an issue for a long time where people would just get the free FLETC ride and go off elsewhere, making local PD was so thin that State Police as well as the Sheriff's Department were having to help out with mundane calls well below their pay grade.
So this causes the other issue, the only cops there consistently are the douchefucks that peaked in high school (and peek at high schoolers, both a joke and the reality, see Cass Mason of Hagerman, NM PD) who have an ego and power fantasy. They have room temperature IQ and AR15s in the back seat. I'm sure Farmington is no different with their police academy candidates.
So this story didn't surprise me when it happened, sadly. Hope the family gets what they deserve from these shitty cops.
I make ~$1,500-$1,600 every two weeks (varies based on OT). My rent for a small one bedroom is $1,200 (utilities included). Other apartments in my town are easily $1,700+ for a barebones similar place, no utilities included.
As much as I pay for how small my place is, I still have it good compared to others in town. Other apartments I've seen have a miniscule kitchen, the only thing keeping them from being kitchenettes are the full sized appliances. I have a decently sized one for the size of my apartment.
You don't necessarily need an account to use the Nvidia drivers, just if you want automatic updates through GeForce Experience. Not saying that's any better, in fact it's almost as shitty, just wanted to clarify.

This reminds me of college. Was downloading movie torrents on my laptop while in class, just made it so it wouldn't go to sleep when you closed the lid. So the IT guys kept kicking me off, so I'd change my MAC and keep going. It got to the point where I did that so much that the IT guys were actually going around campus looking for whoever was doing it. Also I changed my MAC so much it fried the wifi card in my laptop to the point it needed replaced lmao. Good times.
14TB on my PC, mix of NVME, SATA and an old Spinny Boy HDD. I have 1.5TB on my Xbox One X and 2.5TB on my PS4, but I never really touch them for more than a Plex player and PSVR on the PS4 anymore.
Also 22TB in my NAS that I have a partition for Steam game backups for faster downloads to my PC.
DankPods is the only reason why I'd consider using Floatplane, but I've already been a Patron of his for a long time and could just up my tier sub if I wanted to support him more, which I may do if this effects his streams.
Had that in my '17 CTS, the screen did it's normal "I'm in control now" thing of random touch inputs until I finally had enough. Bought an aftermarket screen without the gel layer and replaced it, it was much better than OEM.

Yeah I played Warzone Verdansk/Caldera a lot, spent many hours on it. Verdansk will always hold a place in my heart. Warzone 2 shits on all of that so bad they had to remake the Steam page to have better reviews (it didn't work).
My friends and I that play CoD have moved to playing CoD Mobile on Gameloop and have a much better time there than in MW2 and Warzone 2.
As soon as they made the news about this I jumped ship. Switched to Firefox on everything, and FF on my phone has been better than expected. Having mobile extensions is phenomenal, especially since I like to listen to YouTube videos while at work, and can keep my phone locked or be in another app while it plays in the background now without paying for premium.
