Same here, usually I get at least 1 or 2 songs I like from each week but lately it's garbage meme songs or songs that I find annoying to listen to. My genres are everywhere too, pretty much everything except country music.
Yup, we're the product to them. I even deliberately use an older version of the app before they added those TikTok like videos in the search area because I get better music suggestions than the new version.
The app is nearly impossible to use to just find new music now. Discover Weekly has been a joke for ages too.
Also animals, I saw a video of someone doing it to a pit bull and after he cracked the dogs neck the pit gave him the "I'm going to rip your fucking throat out" look.
We hate delivering them just as much as you hate getting them. Your best bet is to call the companies sending them and have them remove your address from their mailing list.
You could also go to the full extreme of just removing your mailbox and getting nothing, but sadly that also includes any packages sent through the USPS. They'll get returned as No Mail Receptacle.
I'm there with you, I built my NAS about 8 months ago and now I'm slowly migrating everything to Linux. Once I get an AMD GPU for my gaming system I'm going to nuke my dual boot and run solely Linux, with Windows in a virtual machine if I ever need it. I'll just run a dual GPU setup, RTX 3090 for the Windows VM and whatever AMD card I get for the host.
Yup, I have a 3090 and even then I don't bother with RTX. It's a gimmick Jensen and Nvidia love to push as a must have feature. In reality you don't notice it if you're playing a game normally, it's a "stop and smell the roses" feature you only turn on to check out once and turn off immediately when you get frame dips.
This ends badly for the Precursors, we become corrupted after creating our 2 potential replacements for holding the Mantle. Our own children, the Forerunners, nearly wipe us out and we have to flee the galaxy. We come back with a vengeance and manifest as the Flood and get our revenge in the end.
We would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those pesky Halo rings
I use it for one single purpose, browsing marketplace. I look for local used game stuff and that's really it. If something peaks my interest I have my girlfriend message them since she uses messenger, I refuse to have it on my phone.
Even then, I'm using Firefox with UBO so even if they do use my browsing data for ads, I ain't seeing them anyway.
I can't find one specifically about it, all results I find are abount people having trouble connecting their phones.
I remember reading it in a thread here about Mozilla's privacy finding on car companies but don't know if it was here in this Technology thread or another instance. Was somewhere in the comments.
Another reason to resort to an older shitbox without these "smart" features. Most of them have a modem always calling back home and even if you remove the fuse giving it power it'll just put the car in limp mode or throw big error messages and yell at you to see the dealer.
Music slav on divolt. Plop in the link to the playlist/album into the download request then wait for it to download and zip it and you download from there. Max 100 tracks per playlist however.
It's how I get my liked Spotify songs downloaded in mp3 with no DRM and throw them on my iPods.
Obviously a VPN is recommended
Works with FLACs off Deezer, Qobuz and Tidal as well
I have a few iPods I still have kicking around. I have a 4th gen classic that I've done a flash mod to. Now it has 60GB of reliable storage as opposed to the 40GB it came with. Still works amazing.
Also have a 2nd gen Mini with a 128GB flash mod and a 5.5 gen classic still running the original hard drive.
Well, if you're stupid enough to mail some weed or any other controlled substance via USPS Media Mail, they don't need a warrant or even Postal Inspectors to open it. As long as it is clear that the item is not media of some kind, it can be opened and documented to charge the correct postage.
Saw this before when some ding-dongs tried dumping mushroom growing kits (not exactly illegal) in the blue box at my old office. The only reason they opened them is because the fertilizer inside was causing a noticable amount of steam to come from the box (it was winter as well). All they really did was return it for proper postage because it was the wrong type.
It's worse now with the audiobooks they've added IMO. Clogs the page with them.
