She was 5 months old when we got her.
She had like 3 foster families I believe, we have no idea if she was properly separated from her mom or not, and what happened during that time.
The name comes from Wreck it Ralph, it's Vaneloppe's surname.
To be honest, it suits her, her brain glitches pretty hard sometimes.

It sounds like your partition table is corrupted. Recreating it (with parted or fdisk) shouldn't affect the data.
Also, I believe that if it shows up as a block device, you should be able to copy it with dd. dd can write to another block device or to a file (like an iso).
We have some cinemas around here that offer an unlimited option. For a set monthly fee, you can go to the cinema as much as you want. Obviously you have to pay for all the extras (3D, popcorn and stuff). I have one and I go to the movies like 3 times a month on average.
Even though Arch is very well documented, it's not really accessible to newcomers. The documentation assumes that you know the basics, so if you don't, you're screwed.
Mint, Pop! and Debian, to some extent, are much more accessible.
