  • Hormones, joy, fear, security, anger, empathy, jealousy, warmth, anxiety, comfort.

I haven’t been in a relationship for a long time, but it’s a combination of nearly every emotion you can think of. Then again I probably did it wrong.

  • Oh damn, I didn’t realize he was that wealthy. Should’ve looked it up. All the more reason he should have retired ages ago.

  • It’d be much better for him to just stay quiet and fade away into obscurity. Every word out of his mouth since that absurd debate has hurt him, his party, and the country at large. His legacy will not be what he hopes.

Biden may not be super-wealthy, but his presidency is a reflection of our country’s political stagnation. And while he’s no oligarch, he’s certainly the poster boy for elite entitlement to power.

Just a reminder, only a few days ago, Biden still said he would have beaten Trump. This man is not living in reality anymore.

  • I signaled my virtue more than a decade ago. This man can kindly go fuck himself. Such a piece of shit.

  • I’m aware of them. I’ve never been comfortable with sleep tracking apps or wearables. I refuse to rely on technology for something that my body is perfectly capable of doing on its own. After decades of life, I’ve figured out what works best for me. I don’t oversleep, because I get up the moment my alarm goes off.

  • This right here. My parents utterly failed to teach me financial literacy, and it wasn’t mentioned once in grade school or high school. But I learned how to stuff a pillow (why?!) and definitely got a C for frying an omelet the way I like it during a totally antiquated home economics class.

If financial literacy had been properly taught, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be a decade behind my contemporaries. It’s frankly a complete failure of our education system that this gap in critical knowledge hasn’t been filled.

  • Geez, I wish it didn’t all come down to which sold more. They’ll probably over-learn some grand arbitrary lesson from this. Outlaws was an awesome game. Granted, I had very low expectations, but it blew them away with the main gameplay and the minigames.

It felt genuinely like Star Wars, and they managed to pull that off without lightsabers or Jedi. Kind of like Andor did to be honest, though they’re not really comparable.

The locations were unique and variable, but very familiar to fans. The combat was simple and nobody is overpowered, and you feel like you’re part of a massive anonymous galaxy filled with scoundrels trying to survive.

And again, the minigames…I lost sooo many hours to Sabacc.

I also loved both Outcast and Survivor, but they’re very different, and I really hope not everybody judges Outlaws with those games as the only reference.

Edit: I don’t understand the downvotes. This is just, like, my opinion, man.

  • California might as well be in the G7. So go right ahead Johnson, be petty and watch what happens when we stop paying federal taxes. You better believe we’ll be able to fund this kind of shit ourselves if we don’t have to share…

  • Snoozing my alarm clock. Went cold turkey about 10 years ago, 0 tolerance. Now my alarm goes off, I turn my lamp on immediately at full brightness, and get up and out of bed within seconds. Used to be really challenging, but now I do it without thinking.

  • Yup! I use Mobius on iOS to sync everything I want, including random one off file transfers, but mostly to keep my Keepass database and Obsidian vault in sync across devices. It works really well, despite apple making it super difficult to run consistently in the background. As long as you open the app every so often, it’s seamless and reliable.

  • In a court filing a while back, Smith said he was ready to prove the motive behind why Trump took the documents, which is the one big question that remained unanswered. I really hope that’s included. There are lots of possible motivations, and I honestly never thought we’d find out. We probably still won’t, but there’s plenty of other new information this report could give us.

  • “Human cargo.”

That’s a pretty clear way to demonstrate you’re a selfish piece of shit incapable of experiencing empathy.

And this former FBI agent Albracht is already known to be a huge asshole.

  • Fetterman can kiss my ass. He represents the worst kind of politician: someone who exudes authenticity and goodwill, but turns around and stabs his supporters in the back when it’s politically convenient, and gets indignant and defensive when called out on it.

Fetterman’s wife was an undocumented immigrant, and she has been quite open about it and the challenges of being an immigrant in the US, undocumented or not. This issue is such a strange one for a senator of a non-border state to switch his stance, which makes me confident it’s not about the issue itself, but it’s about grabbing and keeping power.

His kowtowing to Trump otherwise makes no sense, his embrace of right-wing talking points is concerning, his blind support of Israel is infuriating, and I can’t help but think that he never really had any principles since his about-face has seemed as authentic as his initial popularity.

  • "I didn't actually come here to free slaves." Well then Qui-Gon, you're a dick.

  • At her daily press briefing…ah to have a president vital and coherent enough to speak directly to the press every day. Must be nice.

  • Yeah, it’s easy to lose the thread and end up embroidered in a yarns long scandal.

  • Community note: REPORTED!!!!! Mark, @heavydust@sh.itjust.works just called you ugly!! Ban them for their perfectly correct and valid opinion!!!
