I have checked some courses in my area, but they are all extremely expensive since they are for people who actually want to become a voice actor and not for someone that does it as a hobby.
I have never checked some tutorials on YouTube or maybe domestika, probably there I'll find something better suited for my needs.
I would love to be able to do more diverse voices... But unfortunately I can't, so my party always get my deep deep voice for every character: man, woman or child
I tried sync and I must say... I don't find it that much better than connect, you can't even hide the replays!
I'm pretty happy with connect and I'll keep using it
Thanks for the detailed reply!
I'll probably look into building a Nas with a raspberry pi then, sounds doable.
I'm sure it's more annoying than using a cloud service in the beginning, but I agree that is absolutely better.
A quote always stuck with me: "a cloud service is simply another guy's computer" and I would rather struggle a bit in the beginning rather than giving my personal photos/files to a stranger.
Plus, I can probably make my NAS as big as I want.
Before today I never heard about NAS, they are fascinating!
Having your own server seems like an amazing idea.
Do you have any resources to suggest on the topic?
I'm unfortunately not extremely tech savvy, but I can probably manage.
Can you create a NAS with any modem or is the fritzbox particularly good for this job?
I agree with you, probably the best place to start is the original trilogy.
Prelude to foundation and forward to foundation are nice, but I found them less impactful than the foundation/foundation and empire/second foundation.
Since it ties to the foundation lore as well, I would suggest the robot series as well, it has some of my favourite books (the naked sun to name the best IMO!).
End of eternity is nice and could be seen as a part of the robot/foundation saga, but I would read it as it is and then, if you want, tie it to the overarching story.
I never saw a trailer/a developer interview (I didn't have access to easy internet at the time) and I only learned about it though a review on a printed game magazine (I miss those, even if they were expensive) that rated it quite highly.
So I didn't have any expectations and I had a blast playing it!
I wonder how a sequel would have been, from time to time.
Man, outer wild is such a magic experience, probably the most unique game I have ever played.
I always get so nostalgic thinking about it.
Can't wait to play it again in 10 years when I'll finally forget everything about it!
