“Can’t get out of bed and tired all the time” are hallmarks of depression. I’m not saying you’re depressed, don’t let someone on the internet diagnose you. But a therapist can really help you understand what’s going on. Meds can be a life changer in a lot of situations.
You should know that depression usually doesn’t feel like “super sadness” and crying all the time. It’s more of a numbness, a disconnection from life. Things don’t make depressed people happy, everything is just turned down.
That seems like the reverse. The high rate environment made startups stingy which (along with that one newsletter saying SVB ran out of money) caused the run that killed SVB.

I wonder if the only way out is through inflation. Devalue the dollar until a $500,000 house at 7.5% interest is affordable to the average person. It would be painful, but it would keep people from going underwater on their loans.

The whole point of open-source is to be able to recreate it yourself so you can make changes. This is freeware. Free-as-in-beer, not free-as-in-speech. Hell, with freeware I can use it for commercial purposes, it’s not even as free as that.
That’s why it’s a stepping stone to actual UBI. The U means you can’t game it. Give billionaires $10,000/yr too. Then tax the shit out of carbon to pay for it.
