I fully agree on the rabbit hole effect of learning linux and selfhosting on your own... I have been moving baby steps for 3 years because it's rare to find even 2 hours in a week where I can do just that. Networking is just daunting to newbies imo

I just tried on android 14. Very complicated to set up ( I barely understood half the questions, also why does it want to connect to a remote device is beyond me). And I didn't get it working after playing with all the parameters. I am sure chainfire knows what he's doing, so maybe I will dig in xda for support. Also it says up to 5.5% battery per hour 😵
Edit: after playing with it today, I got how it interacts with aod in general and managed to get it work. I'll see what is the actual impact on battery over several days and see if it's worth the trade off
