  • I try and just ignore it and read what I'm interested in regardless. From what I hear about the YouTube algo, for instance, clickbait titles are necessity more than a choice for YouTubers, if they don't use them they get next to no engagement early and the algo buries that video which can impact the channel in general.

  • Oh my, no the other way round, spreadsheet loads the data and let excel handle it. I think you can probably even embed python at this point. I'm not seriously advocating for this approach either, to be clear.

  • There's more to just losing the pound than cultural attachment (though that's very real) it would also limit the UK's ability to dictate their monetary policy. Mind you ~25% of the EU don't use the Euro, not least of which is Denmark which has a similar opt out to what the UK used to have.

  • I'm not sure if I have ADHD or not, but a lot of what ADHD sufferers say resonates with me. I've found that doing some small thing towards one of the projects that's not currently motivating me is super helpful too. Enough to keep the skills a little fresh.

  • Iirc bluebrixx use gobricks which are easily comparable to Lego. Mould King do too and also produce a lot of their own sets, bigger and cheaper than Lego. I'm also a fan of JieStar, clutch can be a bit tighter, but the quality is fine - Reobrix use JieStar and make some great original sets.
