No, it’s not. Being appointed and being elected are fundamentally different. One implies a Democratic process, the other does not.

Hamas specifically notes in their charter that they do not call for genocide against Jewish people. They specifically note that they do not have a problem with Judaism, and that their fight is only with Zionism, AND they specifically note that “From the river to the sea” is a call for a one state solution, not genocide.

Can you show me the part of the Hamas charter where they call for the eradication of all Jews? I’ve leafed through it a few times and I can’t find it.

Can I live in China so I can buy a whole meal for 15 cents? Right now I’m more than double the min wage in my state and a McDonald’s meal costs about half an hour of time, so I’d still be making about the same in terms of what I could buy.

Trump era had people being pulled off the streets into unmarked black vans, literally the bogeyman they used on name growing up about secret police. It wasn’t better, certainly. My concern, is that on one side they’re actively setting fires that can burn us all down, and on the other now, they’re letting those same fires burn, and it’s still burning people. We still have camps on the border. We still haven’t rolled back to Obama-era Cuba restrictions, we still haven’t seen any effort to lessen police funding and it’s oversized control of the budgets of nearly every city in the country. In fact, we’ve seen further money put into police to further militarize them. We haven’t seen Biden demonizing cop city protestors, but he hasn’t done shit in their favor either. We haven’t seen him putting money into food banks to help with record food insecurity. Nothings happening around housing, and most of us are spending over half our income on just rent.

That hasn’t been happening. Millennials are moving further left with age. My take is that the previous trend of moving right as you age relied upon your life getting more comfortable as you age. You buy a house, you have two cars, you get to start going on vacations, you have assets you need to secure. That isn’t happening for Millennials. We’re not getting anymore comfortable as we age. We have nothing to conserve.

That said, I see so little radicalism in millennials compared to Gen Z. My generation is a bunch of liberals still trapped in corporate fairy tales about peaceful protesting and voting harder. Gen Z reminds me more of the generation of the turn of the 20th century. They’re not tolerating this shit.
