After Cod4, Vince Zampella left(well, it’s more complicated than that, but we’ll keep it simple) Infinity Ward, and a bunch of the team came with him to form Respawn. Titanfall 2 is probably still the best FPS Single Player campaign since Half-Life 2, and the multiplayer was an absolute blast, but the insanely high skill cap made for a difficult entry for new players. Vince Z is now working on the battlefield series, after the complete disaster that was 2042, but I’m not sure how much of the team is still around at this point, much less how many went with him to BF.
Straight Newspeak. You know what war deterrent is? Peace measures. Where are the brokered discussions between China/Taiwan trying to resolve the situation peacefully and in finality? Why not host both Chinese and Taiwanese dignitaries in a third country and attempt to negotiate some sort of end to this 3/4 century long game of chicken? People give the Swiss shit for their neutrality, but that’s exactly how peace happens.
Now, don’t take that by neutrality I mean to say that one should let one party overpower the other, but conversely, if we truly are the big world police, we should use our influence to extract concessions from the more powerful party to ensure fair dealings.
This is a complex geopolitical situation, not some black and white matter like so many contend.

It really pisses me off how many big games are coming out without physical release. I try to be understanding for indie titles, because it’s not an easy task, but bigger names have no excuse to not at least spin out one run of physical copies for collectors and people without reliable internet.
As someone who has been in the anarcho-scene on and off for a couple decades, it’s actually rather new that the mass of anarchists have become more accepting. One of my favorite bands growing up a was Against Me! and when Laura Jane Grace came out as a trans woman, there was sooo much vitriol from the scene it drove me away entirely for years. I’m so glad for the spread of intersectionality and more nuanced takes in anarchism at large, it’s refreshing.
Aww. I really loved being on blahaj, but it’s not worth causing that kinda stress on our sweet admins. I support wherever you decide to move us, except Reddit, but I think you’re already on the same page.

Most Native American groups did not rely on nuclear family setups, including the few “hunter gatherer” tribes that I know of. Nuclear families actually were most common among pastoral groups, to my knowledge.
