It's going to be a fun time when that happens for the first time.

Oh yeah, there was no doubt at the time that the primary reason for ignoring this incoming disaster was because Nawlins was a Democratic stronghold among a vast Red region.

It was the first real time that we saw Republicans withhold help from Americans simply because they weren't from the same party. Now it's expected that Dems will help everybody, but the MAGA Nazis (the Republican Party doesn't exist any more) will only help their own.

There's going to be a lot of rat fucking on BOTH sides. He isn't any more popular with establishment Dems than he is with Republicans.

I think it's great that people like David Hogg and Mamdani are scaring the Trad Dems into exposing their true nature.

Who the fuck would vote for Adams at this point?

This idiotic administration still hasn't figured out that every time they fire someone experienced and competent, and replaced them with a loyalist, they just make their opposition stronger.

When the real fight comes, the Nazis will have morons running the show, while the Resistance will have the smartest, most experienced people in the world.

But since they believe to their core their worn out propaganda that EVERYONE in the government is an incompetent parasite, they think they are strengthening their side by cutting these people. Pure hubris.

The result of this move is invariably an American dark age.

And once again, Russia benefits. MAGA is deliberately destroying America, and it is all by design. We will never be free if this nightmare until Americans realize that the people running this administration aren't just evil, they aren't just stupid or incompetent, they aren't just corrupt. They are TRAITORS, and are destroying America DELIBERATELY. Until this is fully acknowledged, and all those people rounded up and punished, America can never go back to anything resembling a normal society

This reminds of the response of the Bush administration after Hurricane Katrina. Bush had appointed a big campaign donor whose primary experience was in running and judging show horses to manage FEMA, and he was in way over his head with Katrina.

They knew Katrina was coming, it took nearly a week to move across the Gulf of MEXICO after crossing Miami, and doing a lot of damage there. Then it creeped across the Gulf, growing larger until filled the entire Gulf.

This was obvious to EVERYONE who was watching any television, but the Bush administration did nearly nothing to prepare. They didn't use dozens of school buses to evacuate people, they just let them sit in the yard and get destroyed by floodwater. They made no attempt to stage supplies, make arrangements for food and shelter, evacuate hospitals, etc. They literally did NOTHING.

Katrina hit New Orleans on a Monday, and by that evening it was clear that it was a major disaster. People escaped to the SuperDome for shelter, where rumors spread of violent gangs roaming the Dome raping and pillaging. News videos showed dead bodies in the streets, desperate people just walking past them. If people saw a news camera, they would literally beg for help, for water, for food, for safety.

By Wednesday, the Bush administration had still done nothing. They had lots of excuses, but New Orleans is only a long day's drive from DC, and yet yet somehow they couldn't get rescuers, food, supplies, etc. to them, even though the news media had no problem getting there and sending out video.

On Wednesday, I was watching one of the news people interview "Brownie," the head of FEMA, as he actually said: "We weren't aware of the situation in the SuperDome until today," which was two days after the storm hit. Literally EVERYBODY in the country was watching it on LIVE TV, 24 hours a day, but somehow the head of FEMA wasn't aware of it until 2 DAYS LATER?

This sounds like the same lack of preparation, but also mostly a lack of caring. These are self-appointed Aristocrats, and they think they are above worrying about the nonsense going on in the daily lives of the rubes. They literally don't care at all about any of those dead people.

You don't know what you are talking about. The selection is far better than the little grocery that's near me, and the prices are far lower. In addition, it gets delivered directly to my house, they even bring the order in and leave it in the kitchen, so I don't have to carry it home.

And who said I'm making individual orders throughout the day? Is that how you buy groceries? Whenever you need an individual item, you run to the grocery store for it? THAT'S the dumbest shit I've ever heard. I do what most people do, and make a list of things I need, and when it gets long enough, or reaches my budget, I place the order. I do often order non-food things individually from Amazon, just to make them pay extra for shipping. I get free shipping, so that comes out of Bezos' pocket.

As for making Amazon richer? Yeah, I get it, but I'm not ready to go out and hunt down my own food on a daily basis - in one of the biggest cities on the planet. I have to actually BUY my groceries, and almost every option is enriching some massive evil corporation. But that's life, my family has to eat. Basic survival before activism.

Better selection, lower prices, convenient delivery - so tell me again why this the dumbest shit you've ever heard of? Or are you just running your mouth without a clue of what you're talking about?

The dumbest shit is thinking that everyone has the same access to food as you do. Not everybody has a grocery store nearby, or a way to get to it.

And Roy Cohn, literally.

I'd love to boycott Amazon, but we rely on them for food deliveries. Instead, I like to order things individually throughout the day. I don't wait and collect orders, and send them at once, I send them as I think of them. That way each order is billed separately, making each order as expensive as possible, wasting just a bit of Bezos' profit, and making sure his employees are working and getting paid.

I would never volunteer one unpaid minute for any employer. I don't see them volunteering any money because your personal life is going through a rough patch.

One of the prime lessons taught by his mentor Roy Cohn was NEVER admit defeat, and NEVER apologize. Both things signal a loss, and you should always be the Winner.

The Bush administration blamed EVERYTHING on Clinton, until he got elected and Hurricane Katrina hit, with the most astonishingly incompetent governmental response to a natural disaster in history.

At some point, Bush tried to blame Clinton for it, after two Bush elections, and all of America laughed it him. It was quite clear that blaming a natural disaster in president who had been out of office for more than a term, was considered pathetic by EVERYONE. Bush never got away with blaming Clinton again.

If Hurricane Katrina had hit before the 2004 election, Bush would have lost.

It is up to us to tie EVERY failed policy to HitlerPig, no exceptions. Don't let them blame their standard Democrat boogeymen, make them own it all.

There will definitely be more, and they will make Alligator Auschwitz look like a small town police station lock-up. They have already awarded a $250 million contract to build a 30,000 bed facility in Guantanamo.

For context Guantanamo currently houses up to about 250 people. The average maximum security prison hold 800-1200. The largest prison, in Angola, LA, holds about 8300. So the new prison in Guantanamo will hold almost 4 times as many as the largest prison, which is already several times larger than average.

This facility will be on foreign soil (Cuba!), far away from the prying eyes of the media, the courts, lawyers, protesters, family, etc. If they were illegals, they'd be deporting them, so who are they planning on keeping here, and why?

Also, I've been tracking this development since he first signed the executive order for it several months ago, but I've never heard a single journalist in any media mention it, or ask any member of the administration about it. Most Americans aren't aware of this in the slightest, and the media is helping keep it that way.
