Once ALVR becomes even remotly usable on Linux im wiping my windows partition and going full Linux (I'm already using it for everything exept VR)

Yes PoP OS is going to update the driver in their repos to this versions. Unless you realy want the new driver just wait the few days/weeks it will take for it to arrive in the official repos

Are you sure you are using the nvidia GPU? If your laptop has an iGPU i could be defaulting to running on that.

Not great. Instead of open sourcing the proprietary driver they made a seperate open source one. So there are currenty two seperate official kernel drivers:

• A usable proprietary driver.
• And a horrible open source driver.

Also all userspace drivers are all still proprietary.

Just a note for people wanting to install it:

The only official website is www.revanced.app and www.github.com/revanced , all other websites are unoffincial and can sometimes spread malware. Unfortunetley the official site has terrible SEO and shows up very low in search results. Also the revanced team dosen't distibute prebuilt apks for copyright reasons, you have to patch the stock apk yourself.

I used to like his content and his videos got me into linux but i feel that his newer videos have a lot more politics compared to the older ones and i very much disagree with most of his political views i don't realy watch him anymore

Some games with intrusive DRM or anticheat. Also VR is pretty bad
