  • Interesting thing about grammar and spelling is that incorrect grammar/spelling is only incorrect until it's not.

Language is dynamic and is changed based on how people use it, and if people use it "wrong" in the same way enough times it becomes right.

  • And you get an even bigger battery to throw into the ocean, making double the fun!

  • I don't know if they're the best example considering their elections are almost definitely being manipulated like a lot of the world's superpowers

  • Yeah I guess that would work! Do you know of any countries that currently use that system?

  • Signal jammers?

  • I wonder what fire does to the SD card on which the camera footage is stored?

(Its only uploaded to tesla servers when the car is connected to the internet)

  • I agree! What voting system doesn't make gerrymandering possible?

  • Not just require his removal, but do to him what was done to mussolini

  • CGP grey has some great videos on gerrymandering, and according to him there are 3 options to combat gerrymandering:

    1. Politically independent commission of appointed experts or judges to draw the boundaries (not ideal)
    2. Mathematically: shortest split-line method of drawing boundaries (can occasionally skew results, probability based)
    3. Intentional gerrymandering (benevolent) to try to make the representation as proportional as possible (odd)

I'm sure there are other options but to me the best is probably #2 paired with a single-transferable vote.

  • 100% agree!

  • Fuck ya! Maybe now is the time to dig out that letter I started writing about it last year.

  • Thanks sunshine!

  • Yes thank you for pointing that out, I should've mentioned single transferable vote! I'll read up on the other items you mentioned as well :)

  • Shout out to Turbohaüs in Montreal

  • Also Carney is notorious for being a hard-bargainer and is probably the best choice we have right now during a trade war, considering his track record in England.

That being said as far as progression goes, i question his priorities with Canada considering he's a bank guy. Hopefully one day we can have an NDP opposition again.
