I'm not defending ICE scooping up people. If you know that your visa is expired, you should assume that you are on their radar. Airlines verify all their passengers with TSA to ensure that no one is on a no fly list or q watchlist. Airports are secured locations where your identity has to be verified. Literally all it takes is for ICE to see you have signed up for a flight next Friday, and they can have an agent waiting for you at your gate.

Finland is on the EU, and the US and EU have had trade agreements in place for decades. They just don't want to do it, but since Finland is a small country in a precarious geopolitical situation, they can't just tell the US to pound sand.

I was having a beer before my shift as a server at a restaurant. I ran into this guy i kinda know because his graphic design/print shop is ran out of the house my grest-grandpa grew up in. He asked how i was doing and what i was up to, and i told him i was having a quick drink before work. He told me if i ever needed a job i should let him know. The restaurant industry is slow right now, and this wasn't the first time someone offered me a job when i told them i was having a drink before work at this restaurant, so i decided to take him up on he offer, even though i had zero experience with graphic design or printing.
