  • Or you can always become the person with the nicer camera taking better pictures.

There’s something really satisfying about seeing your own pictures hanging on your wall. Ones you’re really proud of though, not just any old picture. I have 4 printed so far and plan to add another few next year.

But that’s really beside the point. I second your art though. Support local artists and find something you really like. It won’t be something mass produced, and quite possibly is one of a kind

  • There’s also the fact that plummeting property values is really hard to sell to the majority of the voting base. Many homeowners won’t vote for someone who will tank their often largest asset. A lot of the middle class has a lot of their money in mortgages on their primary home.

  • They’ve had those before and it hasn’t worked. Maybe I’m just cynical, but I’ve never seen an official supported modding marketplace exist without a significant number of free mods being sold as paid by not the original developer

  • I was in college for all this and it was a fucking mess. Teachers didn’t know how to teach, so they did the bare minimum (including sending us 3 weekly lectures they recorded 3 years prior) and didn’t grade anything.

If you weren’t extremely self-motivated to finish anything, there were no consequences. The university couldn’t fail you, so why bother?

I’m assuming those problems were 100x worse in the public school system

  • Open marketplaces will tag their products with anything and everything in the hope of showing up in “featured” lists.

This is another one of the consequences of over SEO in the current age of the internet

  • I use this regularly on a laptop, but almost never on a desktop.

It’s really nice if you have multiple full screen apps you’re switching back and forth from them pretty regularly, ie IDE in one env, browser in another, both can be full screen and switched without minimizing the other.

Multi Monitor setups often solve the same problem.

  • I feel like I’m in the minority here, but imo CP2077 is a much more fun game than the Witcher 3. I couldn’t get more than a few hours into TW3 without getting bored, which was never a problem with CP2077.

It was actually one of the major reasons I didn’t initially buy CP2077, as I very much disliked the gameplay of TW3

  • Overall this is a great signing for them. It continues to build faith in their academy program, which hopefully should prove itself in the future. If they had dropped Sargeant for a RB/Merc Junior it would have definitely played against them for prospective signings.

  • That’s pretty much how it was when I delivered with Dominos too. It was a cold day in hell before we’d tell someone to have to come out and meet us. We even still had to do 100% in person, face to face deliveries.

There was a couple occasions where I had to call the customer due to being lost in an apartment complex, but most are fairly understanding about that.

  • Twitter was unparalleled in the reach it had. It has been used to organize protests, riots and overthrow governments. There still isn’t a viable alternative that can reach 80%+ of a population.

Twitter was also used frequently to expose poor working conditions and other abuses of power, especially in middle eastern countries
