Have you checked home automation forums? Some users are fanatics about tweaking stuff. Maybe there is a method or override option. Or see if you can get manufacturer on the phone.

The only hardware I had trouble with was a 3D Connexion Space Pilot. Linux defaults to seeing it as a tablet mouse or track nub, rather than a 6 axis 3D controller. The Linux download from the site did get it working though.

Amazon reviews can be pretty bad mix of unreliable data, especially since you fan have anyone review a product as a paid shill for the shitty seller to bump up the rating, and on the flip side there are morons that give 1 star because they disnt know how to use the product. I.e. There was an add on camera for the Essentials Phone. It Only fit the Essentials phone due to proprietary data connection and physical hardware power connectors on back of phone, and clearly states it only fits one phone. People are like 1 star I couldn't get this working with my IPhone.

And you get stars that don't match their reporting. 3 stars, this is the best product I have ever owned. 5 stars, It's Ok. 1 this broke immediately, so I bought another one

Silent and fanless: look for a Monsterlabo case. It is all heatsink. Buy a fankess power supply, or buy a PSU that is overrates for the load and fanless under 30% load.

Pixma just worked for me with GNOME ams the built in scanner app. If you mean network scanning, that's a different story

Married 20 years, never thought abut cheating, got divorced , and remarried 15 years now, and never think about cheating. If you commit to somebody, they should be your one and only, IMO.

If you have a machine with decent RAM them don't worry about RAM usage. You don't really gain anything by dropping 4 gig RAM usage down to 2 gig RAM.

I gave up my car. I bus to clients. I understand there are circumstances where it may not be always be the case but there are handy transit out here for moving clientswhoo need support, and other services. I have even seen US shows documenting social work where they use taxis.

I listen to his podcast. He often talks over guests and interrupts them to make sure everyone knows he knew something. Overall his show good, and the guest are amazing, but his ego ruins the feel of the interview a lot.
