I was being sensitive, we had some employees struggle mentally with being alone and without interaction. Some people did not have partners at home, so work was their contact with the world. With that gone, issues arose.
But I get your point, I prefer work from home because I get twice as much done without the daily interruptions of "Hello, how are you, wanna see pictures of my jetski, did you watch the game? (Me: game?, I don't even know what game they mean)
We have work from home, i have gone to the office twice this year. But it is true it didn't work for everyone. Some left because of isolation factor, some fired because without anyone watching they just could not self motivate. In some case in-office meetings are way more productive, and you get those moments when a coworker overhears your convo and chimes in with something relevent that you would never have connection on in WFH
Yeah, no point supporting something that has become obsolete. Foss community often puts effort in as passion, but a business will not want technical debt and move on to the next hardware support
I don't suffer the trots from spicy food. If I make a Thai Curry I will put 5 Thai chillies in it. Could just be what my body is used to, but could also be people who struggle might be combo of not used to spice in their system and not eating a lot of veg or iber then have an Indian lentil meal or something?
I can't quite tell what the question is by your image. I have done a lot of descriptive geometry prior to CAD tools coming on the scene, and now work a lot with 3D geometry/topology problems, but what you describe is not going to be taught in schools because 95% of people will never need to know it. Honestly half, to three-quarters, of the people that run 3D CAD don't really understand the geometry; its just a result they get
Windows11 is trying to do just that; having a minimum spec chip, so they could eventually drop support for a lot of older hardware.
But PCs are so modular that you can pretty much add any hardware together and the OS (such as Linux) can figure out the packages you need to make it all run...but even Linux has dropped a lot of 32bit support in the last few years. So it happens, just at a much longer time frame
So you thought you'd double down. Interesting. You provided so much reading material, yet it was more important at the time to address the personal attack strawman you were building. This is not a debate tactic, it is a hostile troll tactic.
If you can't debate like an intelligent person so you resort to insults and allegations then it is not worth my time. Life it too short to deal with negative trolls.
Add Stract.com it is a little behind in web crawling of current info, but the results are like how google used to be around 2010. Just relevant content info, no ads (yet) and occasional randomness
I had to check if we were in the same family/circle. Besides the one situation I mentioned, what you described happened happened to a family friend also. Quite a scary time for those around the person that didn't know what was happening to them (because isolation had led to less interaction), but luckily the ones that got hints took them in to make sure they were OK. And turned out it was bad psychosis and required a few weeks hospitalization.
I'm a let people do what they want guy, but claiming marijuana is harmless is dangerous.
Some bold claims. The life style around heroine addiction has negative affects, but per experts it is a connector that is done when it pops off. Out of the entire world drinking responsibly how many organ transplants are there? Its those who overuse that are an issue. The drunk driver is no different than my high neighbour that smashed through a gate, that gate could have easily been a person.
I don't claim marijuana is horrible but the best argument people who use marijuana come up with is " well it's not alcohol, alcohol is worse". That whataboutism is dangerous when people think that equates to over indulgence is without risk.
Have you had psychosis from a beer every day? Notice I'm not saying they are the same, but all drugs can do damage if overused. Heroine has no side affects after it wears off, but will end you with slightly too much. If I over drink caffeine my blood pressure skyrockets and I'm a candidate for something bursting and dying of an internal bleed. For me coffee is dangerous.
As abuse. Like if somebody tokes on the weekend or has a single beer neither is a problem.
As I mentioned prior I know people that have abused it to point of psychosis hospitalization, and completely destroying their job/education. You just have to define the amounts for abuse, and those will be different per drug.
