  • Nah, I don't need diesel. Lets be honest at hybrid it'll do the job just fine as is.

Basically I want the kind of pickup truck that I can toss a few 2x4s in the back and go, doesn't have to be big, doesn't need a lot of hauling power. Which is the opposite of the way trucks are going nowadays, which are big as fuck and made to tow the fucking world with the shortest damn truck bed that I've watched people struggle to get a tv into because the bed is too short.

  • It's weird. I get it and doesn't surprise me... but not sure the population they could get over here would actually tip the scales all that much.

However I guess if you start questioning lunatic genocidal white people... okay that might add a percentage point or two.

  • It's funny, at least in the areas of the US I've been around, the conservatives haven't thought anything about South Africa until their orange savior called for it.

Granted it may just be they got confused with the South part. They just want to cheer if there's a white authority south of the Mason Dixon line.

  • I'll admit, my disbelief in afterlife really doesn't make me fear death because while it's boring, it's only boring for everyone else. For the person dead it's nothing. Boring is a sensation, and death has none of that either. It's neither good nor bad, just nothing.

  • I dunno. SCOTUS has been quietly amassing power like the Executive Branch through the likes of the shadow docket. They're another unchecked power that's gone amuck, look at the fact they resisted the ethics. Their wording on presidential immunity is purposely vague, they get to decide what's official with the POTUS, not the POTUS. There's a high chance they use it to try to "Save" everyone when something particularly nasty comes up to try to get a good light on them and try to amass more power.

Of course... the problem with this plan is a distinct lack of enforcement power the SCOTUS has.
