I confess it obviously came to mind. I guess I haven't done it yet because part of me feels like I'm stooping to their level and escalating the pettiness? Which is dumb, since I do ban others for the same reason. Bah, logic, who needs it.

I fully agree. The comms I'm modding, I'm doing so because I want them to exist and they wouldn't if I stepped away from them right now. The moment I think they can get by without me I'm finding some other sucker to take them over.

Like I said... I don't feel any of this crosses any lines into rulebreaking. I just wanted to vent some annoyance :)

If you're aware enough, you can feel one landing on you. Easier to do if you're aware there's one in the room and you try to focus. No real way for them to evolve around that.

Zombie. Whales.

Many of the more modern and realistic takes have it caused by an organism that's gone endemic. Meaning anything or anybody that dies changes, regardless of if they were bitten. This provides a constant source of new zombies. In addition to the fact that other survivors are usually a bigger threat than the zombies themselves.

I agree with most of it, but most players generally would just save and respawn a new map in D1 to get more resources?

We kicked him out of office a few years ago, then prosecuted his ass and jailed him. Happy ending? Not quite. His political party is permanently on the verge of freeing him, and there's a non zero chance he'll be PM again at some point in future. Malaysian politics are a ride.

Not sure what to say to that. Nobody in my group would consider classic email and IMs equivalent, unless you're layering an extra UI layer on top like what the other commentor mentioned.

Oh sure, if you're using something like that I can get behind it. But then you're back to the network effect. Probably slightly mitigated since everybody has email, even if they're not getting it in a pretty IM format and won't be replying to it on the spot.

Also an entirely different thing, email is nothing alike to IMs.
