  • This feels like and accidental Wes Anderson pic.

  • I agree and will add that management always seems to forget that machines have downtime too. Robots replacing humans is a lovely dream these companies have where they conveniently ignore the needs and demands of using said robotics.

  • Been replaying Talos Principle in anticipation of the sequel coming out next month. Been having a blast with the exception of a few puzzles with mines (if you've played it you know). I don't know if I'm going to 100% it again because I fucking hate those levels.

  • I'm pretty cheap and it took a lot of justification to spend triple digits on a high quality pillow.

  • One of those stupid expensive real down feather pillows. I spoiled myself one year for my birthday and only wish I had done it sooner. I go to bed every night and thank myself for getting that pillow.

  • Mine is leading a revolt in my bird room right now. This is what I have every morning instead of coffee.

  • If you are at a 7 or 8 on the regular you've got bigger problems than dehydration. That's liver or kidney failure territory.

  • I thought both the sound and the letters were referred to as phonetics. Now I'm interested in what other answers are.

  • Grippy socks are standard issue for all in-patients in most US hospitals because they prevent falls and the floor is nasty. Seriously please wear them during your stay.

  • Missy

  • I have a cow cat with one big black spot on the top of his head and on big one on his back. He's a very big boy who looks rather imposing but he's really sweet. We call him Kenny or Kenny-chan but his real name is Kenpachi (from Bleach). Coincidentally he lost an eye to cancer over a year ago so he looks even more like his namesake now.

  • For the general public it is because of social conditioning through various means such as society and religion. In truth the powers that be such as social and religious leaders push this concept of "sex is bad" as a means of control. It's all about control. The easiest way to brainwash a bunch of people into doing your bidding is to keep them isolated and frustrated.

  • I couldn't stop myself from using dude if I tried. It's too much a part of me.

  • My African grey Bert constantly surprises me with his intelligence. My personal favorite was the time he was trying to get the cat's attention. He'd been muttering, whistling, and dancing in the cat's direction for about 15 minutes and finally yelled "Why don't you f-ing talk?" I don't think he believed me when I told him the cat can't talk.

  • Reminds me of the scene in Goodfellas where De Niro's character tried to lure Karen into the warehouse to look at some dresses and she runs away scared because she knows she's going to be killed. I really hope Pence felt like that.

  • Got Hardspace: Shipbreaker on sale the other day on Steam and been pleasantly surprised with it. Sometimes I'll blow the ship up for giggles and restart.

  • Theranos went down because Holmes was trying to run the same tired start-up scam all the big boys pull but within the confines of the medical industry. She would have succeeded if she had picked something non medical. The FDA doesn't fuck around. If Elon thinks he's smart enough to pull the same shit he's going to "find out" too.

  • The fact that they staged the patient being on life support to hide obvious medical malpractice is beyond words. The psychological trauma to the family is horrible. How could you even justify putting that type of guilt on others to hide your own misdeeds is beyond me. There has better be some revoking of medical licenses happening after this case.

  • No they just actively decide not to pay for them which in America is basically the same as a denial of treatment. When people have to decide between paying for healthcare, meds, or food and shelter we have a problem.

  • I just want you to know that my husband asks me every couple of days if there is a new picture of Bowie. Thanks for making us smile.

  • I mean the US has been fine with letting insurance companies second guess doctor's decisions forever why not governments too.
