Covid mutates really fast, just like the flu. We will never get rid of it, but adapt to its existence like the flu.

This is why I consider trump still effectively ruling like a king, as someone above the law, controlling one of the three major branches of the government.

Hopefully he gets a speedy recovery. I really enjoyed his speech in Detroit he had recently. Biggest surprise was the enthusiasm of the crowd, which was more wild than the trump ones I have seen. Also I loved when he showed humility, an extremely rare thing to show as a leader. Republicans probably only saw weakness, not bravery and kindness in his heart.

Republican states are the worst states to live in, and instead of trying to improve their life and get nice things, they resort to attacking people for their problems. They want to remove and tear down agencies, the balances of power, and other programs and regulations because they are not happy with their own state governance. Instead of reflecting on their own cooked ideas, they are violent, hateful, and destructive, and don't realize without the nice things that took a long time to implement, they would have a dystopian hellscape. They would rather blame anyone other than themselves. And no strong leader figure promising a paradise is going to give you the solution, he's just Hitler, and history remembers how that turned out.

This would be amazing if he can do it. At least he's promising good changes vs trump promising judgment day on day one...

It's because apple is generally opposite of this type of place. Lemmy is more FOSS (free and open software), and android is more open than apple. Apple's closed garden isn't appealing to most tinkers, developers, and power users. Apple is more main stream and don't want to bother with setup, settings or tinkering.

Personally, I hated Apple before even their first cell phone was around, because their software lockouts were infuriating to me, creating a disposable iPod paper weight after only 2 years back then. I never looked back.

A judge released the Epstein papers recently, with the names all numbered 'doe', to protect the rich and famous pedophiles from the public eye. Sleuthers on the internet have match trumps movements and actions up to 'doe 174' as most likely as trump. Some suspect the shooter motives might be because of this reason.

Most sit in jail until sentencing, and the time spent waiting will be accounted with the sentencing. I say most, because only the king walks around free.

Also convicted criminals people should not run for president. The corrupted courts made a new law, something they don't have the power to do, where the criminals can run, explicitly the hitler felon.

That's good news for the coming election. But I still fear he won't ever be punished for his numerous crimes, the biggest yet to come, the pedo rape connections from the Epstein papers.
